Frequently Asked Questions

What is your sleep training approach?

At Slumber Squad, We understand that every child is different and has unique sleep needs. We offer a variety of methods for sleep training, and we always meet the child where they are at. We work closely with parents to develop a customized plan that works for their family, taking into account the child's age, temperament, and any special circumstances. Our goal is to educate parents on healthy sleeping habits and to help everyone in the family get the rest they need.

Will my baby cry? Do you have a "No Cry" Method?

As a sleep consultant, our approach is rooted in a responsive philosophy that fosters a deeper connection between you and your child. We believe in providing emotional and physical support for your child and empowering parents with the tools necessary to make informed choices about their family’s sleep needs. While we can't stop a child from crying, our goal is to help you understand the underlying causes of the crying. From there, we can develop a plan that will support your child's sleep needs and promote better sleep for everyone. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a"no-cry" method. If there was we would be all over it!

How long will this process take?

Sleep training is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and that's why we work with each family to develop a unique plan that fits their lifestyle and parenting style. While it can take an average of 2-3 weeks to see results, we have seen success stories in less and more time depending on the child. We are committed to helping your family get the sleep they need.

Once my child is sleeping will I ever need to sleep train again?

As your child grows and develops, there will be times when they experience sleep disruptions. As parents ourselves, we understand how challenging it can be to navigate these changes. That's where Slumber Squad comes in. We provide families with the personalized support necessary to address the root causes of sleep disruption so that everyone can get the good night's sleep they need. My approach is focused on empowering families with the tools and techniques necessary to build healthy sleep habits that will last a lifetime.
